TERMS OF USE

Welcome to gpta6.com (the "Site"), home of GPTA6, a free browser game set in the fictional city of Slop City, FL (the "Game"). By accessing or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or the Game.

1. The Game Is Provided Free, As-Is

The Game is an experimental, free-to-play project provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or freedom from errors. We may modify, suspend, or shut down the Site or the Game — in whole or in part — at any time, for any reason, without notice and without liability to you.

2. Eligibility

The Game contains cartoon violence and satirical content intended for mature audiences. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site, and at least 18 — or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian — to the extent required by the laws that apply to you. By playing, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

• use display names that are hateful, harassing, impersonating, or otherwise abusive;
• cheat, exploit bugs, use automation, or interfere with other players' experience;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or other players' connections;
• use the Site or the Game for any unlawful purpose.

We may block, disconnect, or ban any player at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without cause or notice.

4. Fiction, Satire & Parody

The Game is a work of fiction, satire, and parody. Slop City, its inhabitants, billboards, radio content, and events are fictional or satirical. Any resemblance to real persons, companies, products, or places is for the purpose of parody and commentary and does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation. GPTA6 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games, or the Grand Theft Auto series, or any other person or entity referenced or evoked in the Game.

5. In-Game Ads & Third-Party Links

The Game displays in-game billboards and sponsored messages, and may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, their content, or their practices. Following any third-party link is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and policies.

6. Intellectual Property

The Game, including its code, design, audio, and original artwork, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to play the Game in your browser for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may record and stream gameplay. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Game's assets without permission, except as permitted by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will the operators of gpta6.com, or anyone involved in creating or running the Site or the Game, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or device or connection issues, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or the Game — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or the Game shall not exceed the amount you paid us to use it, which is zero dollars ($0). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case, liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.

8. Assumption of Risk

Online multiplayer means you will encounter content created in real time by other players (such as display names and in-game behavior). We do not pre-screen player conduct and are not responsible for it. You play at your own risk.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of gpta6.com from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or the Game, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Site or the Game after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Game shall be resolved exclusively in the federal or state courts of the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. You agree that any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and the Game. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
